LIVE PERFORMANCES
Once or twice a year, ECT brings a theatre troupe to Evansville to give local,
live performances. Evansville Children’s Theatre chooses shows that are not only
entertaining, but that also teach life lessons. We work to make these events
affordable—allowing as many as possible to benefit.
WORKSHOPS
ECT understands the importance of teaching children to be good listeners and
respectful audience members. Along with the social skills gained by being good
audience members, we give opportunities for children to be on stage through
workshops and live productions. Our goal is to bring a theatre troupe each year
to help produce a show that features our Tri-State children as performers.
STORY HOUR
We have a talented group of volunteers who read at local book stores, libraries,
and daycare centers. Most of our volunteers have extensive backgrounds in theatre,
which brings an entertaining and enriching dimension to the reading of a book.
CREATIVE OUTREACH
Look for us at local arts and kids festivals. We have activities and booths for
your children to take part in.
