Evansville Children’s Theatre was incorporated as a not for profit in 1951, and for over fifty years fulfilled its mission of bringing educational, family oriented theatre to local children. In 2006, a new board of directors was asked to come together to give the organization a fresh start. Since that time, ECT has worked to re-brand itself—giving the group a vibrant new look, restablishing contacts within the community, and working to make Evansville Children’s Theatre a household name again with Tri-State families.

Evansville Children's Theatre is a 100% volunteer organization. There are no paid staff positions; all donations and proceeds go toward the costs associated with our programs and events.

Thanks to the support of the Tri-State, our 2008-2009 season has been a wonderful success, and we are looking forward to an exciting 2009-2010 season. We hope you will be a part of it.
